Thread Content
This post was last edited by kaminocmyhc on 2010-7-22 at 12:56. I’ve wanted to create a series of discussion topics for a long time; as my knowledge is quite varied and I have a basic understanding of various units used in oil refining, I thought I would start with this topic to stimulate further discussion. Without further ado, the topic for the first discussion is as indicated in the title; below are the specific topics to be discussed in detail along with the corresponding scoring criteria. Of course, if the experts feel that there are still shortcomings in the detailed aspects, they are welcome to share their opinions, and I will make the corresponding adjustments. 1: Plant scale and process – required. 2: Properties of the feed oil (10 points). 3: Oil-to-reactant ratio in the plant, reaction temperature, and residence time in the reaction tubes (10 points). 4: Hydrogen-to-oil ratio data for the plant – required. 5: Concentration of metal passivators and amount added (10 points). 5: Heavy metal content in the catalyst (Ni, V, etc.) (6 points). That’s all for the discussion items for now. For the items marked as required, no score will be given if they are not filled in; scores for the remaining items will be assigned based on the completeness of the information provided. If there are additional supplements, an appropriate extra score will be assigned subjectively based on the nature and content of those supplements.
It is recommended to remove the device manufacturer; otherwise, no one will be willing to do it. Hehe, it’s just my personal suggestion – please take it into consideration!
