Hydrogen cyanide is a flammable and toxic gas; it’s relatively easy to create detectors for it, but the challenge lies in calibrating the instruments. At present, most products used in China are imported, with calibration done by the manufacturer.
I think the products from RIKEN in Japan are fine; one must not be careless when it comes to this issue. Try to avoid using domestic products, as hydrogen cyanide is highly toxic. At the very least, choose products from Japan, and if possible, opt for brands from Germany or the United States.
It is manufactured in Germany by Dräger; it is well-established for use with hydrogen cyanide, and domestic petrochemical companies all have experience using it. We have been using this product to measure cyanide for many years, and its quality is truly excellent.
