PTPs for longitudinal welds are to be produced as a direct extension of one of the welds within the coverage, whereas PTPs covering circumferential welds must be made in parallel with one of the welds by the same operator(s), using the same equipment and process parameters.
It’s really a matter of different fields – are PTPs process/production testing plates? It seems to refer to two scenarios: one vertical and the other tangential. Vertical test plates need to be extensions of the material being tested, while tangential test plates require parallel samples under identical conditions (personnel, equipment, parameter settings). . What I don’t understand are: the purpose of PTP, the meaning of coverage, and whether \"weld\" refers to a welded part or a weld seam.
Is a test board a type of circuit board? If that’s the case, \"weld\" can be translated as the circuit welded onto it.
