We have a vertical vacuum tank here, with an inner diameter of 2200 mm, a thickness of 12 mm, and a cylinder length of 3130 mm. The design pressure is -0.1 MPa and the design temperature is 170°C. So what is the eccentricity? Eccentric load? -----------By the way, the weight of this medium is 12 tons, and the thickness of the insulation layer is 60 mm. Don’t you even know or understand what an eccentric load is? Replenish as soon as possible, or avoid designing for now
Standard JB/T4712.3-2007 provides formulas for checking loads and moments, as well as calculations related to eccentric loads; it’s worth studying.

If you know, just tell them! If you don’t know, could you please shut up? If you’re already working in machinery, why bother? My understanding is: an eccentric load is something like the mass of manholes or large pipes, multiplied by 9.8 N/KG! The eccentricity is the distance from the center of gravity of the aforementioned component to the center line of the equipment! Furthermore, the example problems in the appendix of JB/T4712.3-2007 specify the eccentric load and eccentricity within the design conditions, but do not explain how to calculate them!
