The oxygen level after the electrostatic tar catcher in our plant is always around 0.8, and it won’t go down. I would like to ask the experts what should be done in this situation?
It’s not high anymore. In my company, the oxygen content in the gas captured by electrostatic precipitators is kept at ≤2%. Since we use M-type smoke exhaust vehicles, the fan power is increased during coal loading, and at that time the oxygen content is around 1%, or even 0.8% – so there’s no risk involved
Mainly, it relates to the dust removal equipment used in gas pipelines and coke oven tops, as well as the operating pressure of the gas collection pipes
