The acid leach residue generated in zinc smelting systems has extremely high acidity and viscosity; as a result, the automation level of conventional feeding systems is low, and it is also not possible to manually transfer this residue into underground slurry tanks. A sludge mixing tank can be installed beneath the filter press in the previous process; the liquid to be used in the next process is placed in this tank, and stirring is initiated. The acid-leached sludge from the filter press is then poured into this tank, and after it has been properly mixed, it is pumped into the tank used in the next process. This approach saves labor and time, while also ensuring production safety and a clean environment. Give it a try? :)
Feeding is generally done by pumping the slurry into a filter press or into a mixing tank. To facilitate unloading, a feed hopper can be added below the filter press.

Reply to 5# lxw008: It should be the high-acid leaching residue. We used to transport it with slurry pumps, but if the distance is too great, it’s better to process it on-site; there’s no need to transport it over such a long distance, and the pipes are also prone to clogging.
Why not consider a hose pump?
