Does a jacketed container fall into this category?

This post was last edited by weizi23 on 2010-7-19 17:23. It’s a pressure vessel with a volume of 70 m3, equipped with a jacket; approximately 6 kg of steam is used for heating the jacket. Does it fall into this category? Under the same conditions, what about the vacuum chamber? Which standards should be referenced?
If steam is used for the jacket, it definitely belongs to the upper category.
As long as there is steam in the jacket and the maximum operating pressure is greater than 0.1 MPa with PV ≥ 2.5 PMa·L, this equipment falls into this category regardless of the operating condition of the inner cylinder.

To calculate the jacket volume, PV is determined in accordance with the volume regulations; for a container with multiple chambers, the classification is based on the highest value among them
It involves testing the operating pressure and volume, but generally, when saturated water vapor is used in jacketed vessels, both the operating pressure and volume meet the required standards. Jacketed vessels are designed and manufactured separately, categorized by their highest grade.
