How to avoid water hammer in steam mixers over the long term

For the heating of brine using steam, we do not use plate heat exchangers; instead, we use a steam mixture. The steam is introduced directly into the brine, and a steam mixer is used for this purpose. A check valve is installed before the steam enters the mixer, and during operation this check valve generates a lot of noise. Could anyone with expertise please suggest ways to resolve this issue?
Connect directly, and then install wire mesh fabric on the probe that enters the interior.
