There are roughly three types of shielding methods for computer twisted pair shielded cables: those with only a single shield layer, those with only separate shield layers, and those that have both separate shield layers and a single shield layer. I have no issues with multi-core cables; what puzzles me is that for cables like 2x1x1.0, which consist of just one pair of twisted wires, what is the difference between separate shield layers and a single shield layer? It seems that only a shielding layer can be used; I see on the sample that there are also 2x1x1.0 split-screen + main screen cables What’s going on here?

The model number is written casually, so mistakes are inevitable. We don’t write down the model number, hehe.

That means that a 1x2x1.0 cable actually has only one shielding layer, so it’s sufficient to use a single shield; whereas in the case of multiple pairs, such as 16x2x1.0, it’s possible to choose between using a single shield, separate shields for each pair, or both, right?

DJYPVPR refers to the flexible double-layer shielded twisted pair
Is there also split-screen for the full screen in 2x1?
