How to safely discharge the refrigerant from a chiller

Our facility is equipped with Carrier 30HXC200A and 30HXC350A chiller units that feature full-liquid evaporators. If it becomes necessary to clean (or service) the evaporators, the refrigerant must first be drained. I’m not sure how to do this safely

Close the refrigerant supply valve and pump the refrigerant in the evaporator to the condenser； 2. Use a refrigerant recovery unit to recover the refrigerant from your unit. Full-liquid type, the volume is a bit large ； 3. If the refrigerant is ammonia, it is absorbed in a manner similar to that in an acid tank.
