The company is holding a skills competition to start motors using Danfoss 5000, combination switches, and motor wiring. How many are the wiring terminals of the combination switch? What parameters need to be set for an inverter? Please ask an expert for guidance!
It’s not specific enough; the load condition of the motor directly affects the parameter settings. The basic motor parameters must definitely be entered into the frequency converter. The type of load also affects the setting of the startup time; information such as whether the load is increasing gradually and whether there are brakes is relevant, so the poster should explain the situation as clearly as possible.

You should download the technical manual for this frequency converter and check the parameter descriptions as well as the terminal information. We have only used the VLT2800; it’s not difficult to achieve the desired functions with the 2800 model, provided you know which parameters to use. 2800 is started and stopped via terminals 12, 18 and 12, 27; parameters 102 to 106 correspond to motor power, voltage, frequency, current, and speed respectively, while 207 represents the acceleration time ; 208: Deceleration time ; 002: Control source. These are just for reference; for specific details, the user should consult the 5000 technical manual
Wiring was completed according to the technical manual, and startup was successful!
With a technical manual, what’s there to worry about? Just connect things according to the wiring diagram – there aren’t many wires, it’s very simple.
