I’m looking for a standard method for testing the wear index of catalytic cracking catalysts, thank you
I had the analysis method before; I just couldn’t find it right now. The catalyst is placed in a glass tube and blown with air, then the increase in fine powder is measured. Even if you have a method, you may not have the equipment; have the catalyst factory test it for you.
The wear index is the percentage of the weight of the fine powder with a size of less than 15 microns, generated after subjecting a certain amount of microsphere catalyst to high-speed airflow for 4 hours, relative to the weight of the catalyst particles with a size of more than 15 microns
In China it is the AI index, while abroad it is the DI index; the testing methods differ significantly.
