Is the cyclone coke dust remover effective for coking?

The factory has newly installed a coking unit equipped with a cyclone for removing coking dust. I’m not sure how well it works in practice. An experienced worker said that it’s okay even if it doesn’t function well (i.e., if its performance isn’t ideal). The Luoyang Research Institute insists on installing it, but I’m not sure whether we should do so or not
Our factory has them too, but we’ve never used them. It’s not very practical to use them – it’s too troublesome
