Inner Mongolia is short of water, so air cooling must be used. It mainly condenses and cools 200KPa, 120°C steam to 50°C water, but there are also non-condensable gases and pulverized coal particles in the steam. Pulverized coal accounts for 0.65% of the total steam, about 206kg/h, particle proportion: 1.38 maximum diameter: 0.55μm average: 0.2μm. I asked several air-cooling manufacturers and they all do pure medium condensation. They cannot do it with pulverized coal and it is easy to get clogged. Does anyone know which company can make an air cooler for our working conditions? Or is there any other way to condense and cool the steam without consuming water?
The problem is very complicated. Why does steam carry pulverized coal? Can't it be improved in terms of technology? If there is no way not to use it, at a glance, at least 2 unit operations should be added.: 1. Cyclone separator --- don't underestimate its design, find a reliable one, otherwise it will be in vain (if you really need it, you can post it, I know an American one, designed in the United States, and the equipment is made in China) 2. We can only talk about scrubbers or dust collectors here, the rest is a matter for the design institute.
It cannot be solved technologically, and the steam is discharged intermittently, and the speed of steam in the pipeline is not constant. Can a cyclone separator solve the problem?
If there is a gap, the speed of steam in the pipe will be unstable and the cyclone separator will be difficult to handle. I have consulted, but electrostatic precipitator does not work. We have requirements on condensation speed, and the steam must be condensed and cooled within 1 minute.
Divide into two parts to solve the problem. 1. To solve the problem of pulverized coal during the period, add two sets of filters with scrapers. The steam first passes through the filter to remove the pulverized coal particles in the steam.; 2. The steam from which the pulverized coal is removed is condensed in an air cooler and the condensate is recovered. This is a good question! I have never come across steam being applied in this way and requiring condensation. The difficulty in analyzing the problem should be that it is not easy to separate pulverized coal directly from steam! Considering the feasibility of cooling, it is recommended to proceed in two steps. In the first step, the steam containing pulverized coal is directly air-condensed. A sewage discharge device can be added to the ordinary air-cooled condenser to realize the simultaneous discharge of condensed water and pulverized coal. In the second step, the condensed water is filtered or precipitated to separate the pulverized coal, and then the condensed water is cooled to the required temperature through an ordinary air cooler.
I don’t know how much steam it has, so if it’s not valuable, just give up. Or use some method to roughly divide them, spare an air cooler, and switch between them. Filtration or other methods cannot solve the problem. The reason is that your pulverized coal has a particle size distribution, and some particles will always escape, resulting in blockage. I have only heard of one-minute condensation. This formulation seems to refer to the interstitial process.
You can add a filter in front of the air cooler and clean it regularly.
