Who can provide information or images regarding the characteristics of the polymerization reactors in the PVC project of Zhongyan Jilantai Salt Chemical Group?
It is likely that polymerization reactors with a capacity of 139 cubic meters will only be able to be used on a large scale in China during the next peak period in PVC production capacity expansion.
Jilante uses the technology from Tianjin Daguhua; its reactors are the same as those of CHISSO, with nothing special about them. It doesn’t even have high-pressure spray guns, which I think is not good – the cleaning cycle for the reactors is short, around 100 reactors per cleaning cycle, while CHISSO requires cleaning every 80 reactors. Although the reactors I’ve seen don’t have spray guns, I still think it’s better to have them, as large reactors are difficult to clean. Does anyone know what stage Anhui Huasu is at currently?

In some factories, where the polymerization reactors are well-maintained, cleaning is done only once every six months, while in other factories it needs to be done once a month; these figures actually depend greatly on the operating practices of the respective facilities.

So far, it’s impossible to clean once every six months without high-pressure spray guns. Although some manufacturers of coating tanks claim that cleaning is needed every 500 tanks or something, that’s all nonsense. By cleaning once every six months, do you mean using high-pressure washing? Also, the cleaning cycle for each reactor varies. What I mentioned earlier is just what’s stated in CHISSO’s technical specifications; in normal production, the cleaning cycle for the reactors can be determined based on actual conditions
