What knowledge should newcomers to Huanan learn on their own?

I’m about to start working as an environmental safety engineer at a petrochemical company. I’m not sure what knowledge I should learn on my own first; I hope those with more experience can give me some advice! Please share your experiences and insights, thank you!

It seems that one should first understand the general overview of the company, as well as the role of one’s own department within the company and the nature of the work involved. After gaining a broad understanding, then one can delve deeper into the specifics of one’s own tasks. Taking it step by step will work fine!
