What criteria are used to select between horizontal and vertical gas-liquid separators? What are the operational differences between these two types of separators?
I personally suggest that it would be more appropriate to move this topic to the “Chemical Engineering Discussion Forum”
The amount of liquid, and the residence time of the liquid at high and low liquid levels.
Gas volume, liquid volume, foaming and degassing conditions, viscosity, density, etc.
