There is a heat exchanger for which certain parameters are given, such as the number of tubes, tube length, and tube diameter. Based on these parameters, the calculated heat exchange area is 47 square meters, while the heat exchange area indicated on the equipment’s nameplate is 41 square meters. What could be the reason for this difference?
The design institute made a mistake! ! ! ! !
47 is the theoretical heat exchange area, while 41 is the effective heat exchange area.
