Why can the inverter start but not stop? Pressing it stops it, and when released, it starts again automatically?
Check whether your closing button is stuck, and also confirm whether the parameter control mode you have set is point control.
There should be a self-lock on the control circuit; check your wiring to see if there are any issues with it.
Is the start/stop of the inverter controlled using a two-wire system, meaning that the inverter starts when this contact is closed and stops when it is open? When you press the button, its normally closed contact opens, allowing the frequency converter to stop; but as soon as you release the button, its normally closed contact closes again, causing the frequency converter to start up once more!
Check whether the external switch circuit is correct, and examine the internal settings of the inverter to ensure they are being used properly.
Based on your description, it’s possible that the frequency converter has remote start functionality; pressing the button locally stops it, and releasing it starts it automatically. This issue is caused by continuous remote start commands being sent.
