Expanding the use of coal for coking, especially lower-grade coal, has always been a goal for enterprises. Has anyone who has conducted coal blending experiments shared information on the maximum amounts of asphalt and coke powder that can be used in such blends? Also, has anyone tried using lignite semi-coke? Currently, lignite semi-coke is used as activated carbon as well as in gasification processes. I’m not sure what the effect of using it along with coal in coke production would be; I want to conduct this experiment, so I’d like to ask for suggestions from colleagues first.
