For those who have never used CAD before, how can they learn to use it for drawing in a simple and quick manner?
CAD is just about drawing circles and lines, and then working on those circles and lines; it’s simple, right?
Hehe, let me first tell you a basic key point for getting started: understand that CAD is a vector graphic, meaning that every line you draw has a direction and a size. Use the keyboard to enter data and directions. For example, to draw a line segment that is 45 degrees off the X-axis and 100 units long, you can enter: line followed by Enter, specify the starting point (using the mouse), and then specify the next point: @100
It’s very simple to apply this: just find a slightly more complex image and try to draw it by yourself! Put it this way: almost any simple drawing method you can think of to cut corners can be achieved with CAD functions, but that’s only when one has reached a level of proficiency in using them.
