Polyester polyols are one of the main raw materials in the polyurethane industry; they have a wide range of applications and require many basic chemical ingredients. However, there is little discussion about polyester polyols on ships. Polyester polyols are chemicals produced by the dehydration polymerization of diacids or anhydrides with diols or polyols; they are used in the shoe industry for adhesive soles, and they also find extensive application in the polyurethane sector.
