An liquid oxygen pump is a cryogenic liquid pump used to increase the pressure of liquid oxygen in order to transport it. It is commonly used as the liquid oxygen circulation pump in the main condensation evaporator, the process liquid oxygen pump arranged in parallel between the upper and lower towers, the product liquid oxygen pump in internal compression processes, and the liquid oxygen pump for storage tanks. It can be divided into two main categories: centrifugal liquid oxygen pumps and piston-type liquid oxygen pumps. Plunger type is generally used to pump liquids with low flow rates but high pressure.
