What are the criteria for passing water flushing? Is it turbidity? If so, what is the acceptable level of turbidity?
The water discharged from the flushing outlet is clean and transparent; visually, its color and transparency should be consistent with those of the flushing water source, or the turbidity at the inlet and outlet should be similar (not exceeding 20).
When discharging water, connect the discharge pipe to the drainage ditch as much as possible. Once the transparency of the discharged water is the same as that observed at the inlet, with no debris or slag present, and after it is confirmed as satisfactory by the project supervisor, the relevant approval procedures shall be carried out
It depends on what equipment you are rinsing and your process requirements. However, it mainly comes down to turbidity, as water flushing can generally only remove the sludge attached to the equipment; therefore, it is recommended that you get a turbidity meter. A turbidity level of below 40 is generally considered acceptable.
