It seems that on the borders of drawings of any size, there are letters such as ABCD… and numbers such as 123456… I’m not sure what the rule is regarding this; I wonder how long each letter and number should be within those boxes. Also, how are these elements arranged when the drawing is viewed in vertical orientation?
Reply to 1# Fabregas: On the drawings I’ve seen, there are 123456 outside the left border. Outside the upper and lower borders are ABCDEFGH. In the process flow diagram, there are arrows indicating directions of flow; these letters and numbers show the location of those arrows on another drawing. Just as the horizontal and vertical coordinates represent a point.
This is the map frame segmentation; the length of each segment should be selected between 25mm and 75mm. For details, refer to standard GB/T14689-2008 \"Technical drawings – Sheet size and format\"
