Reason why the FAULT light on the TRICON card is on while the ETHERNET SWITCH light is off

In our plant, the FAULT lights on 5 TRICON AI and AO cards are on, while the lights on the redundant TSC1 ETHERNET SWITCH are not lit at all. Please help analyze the reasons. A system installed in 2007.
If the FAULT light on the TRICON card is on, it indicates that there is an alarm. Removing the TSC1 ETHERNET SWITCH, which does not have a light, might help to resolve the issue.
The diagnostic function can be used to identify the specific fault point, after which the underlying cause can be analyzed.
If it is a soft fault, it can be diagnosed and resolved online; generally, an open circuit will trigger a fault alarm!
