Is it valuable to become a registered environmental engineer?

Are there any who already have such certificates and can share their opinions? If it’s not very useful, then I won’t take the exam. As far as I know, the official registration process for environmental engineers has not yet started; many people’s certificates just lie unused at home. As for when registration will begin, it’s still a long way off!

This post was last edited by fangqiong on 2011-2-18 10:46. Whether it’s valuable or not isn’t the most important thing; what matters is whether one can pass the exam. You can’t pass this exam just by memorizing things; it requires real skills in order to give it a try.
It’s still highly valued in small companies, but it’s not very useful in large design firms; I feel that having it is quite important for me.
My certificate is still at home:funk:. In the current market, there is a much greater demand for registering public equipment than for environmental protection-related registrations, and it’s not clear when official registration for environmental protection measures will begin; everyone is waiting to see what happens. I consulted an agent; currently, the cost for registering a license is 120,000 per three years. If the poster is working in the water sector, it is recommended to obtain a qualification in water supply and drainage, as there is high demand for such skills.

The market has not yet been officially opened, and it should be valuable once it is opened; after all, the scale of the companies that need this certification does not match that of those providing such certifications~~~

It will be useful sooner or later; the environmental protection field is set to see significant development in the near future. Develop first and then address the issues – environmental protection will surely come in handy
It is said that so far too few people have passed the requirements, and the Ministry of Construction does not dare to enforce the registration system for environmental protection immediately (as that would result in the cancellation of the design qualifications of many organizations), which is why a transitional policy has been introduced. I heard that formal implementation can only begin once the number of people who have obtained the qualification certificates reaches around 70%~80% of the required amount. I don’t know if the news is true or not If that’s true, everyone will have to wait, what frustration.
