What is the typical temperature control for a reboiler, and what is the medium inside the reboiler – chlorosilane?
This question is too general. A reboiler is a heat exchanger, and its operating temperature varies depending on its function. The *fixed-tube-sheet heat exchangers are commonly used by polysilicon companies; I will assume that the poster is referring to this type of heat exchanger. It has a tube side and a shell side – is the heat exchange medium always chlorosilane? If so, which one goes in the tube side and which one in the shell side? It should be explained clearly…
The normal pressure reboiler is around 120 degrees, I think; our factory uses around 120 degrees as well
The temperature control of the reboiler should be determined based on the composition of the material and the operating pressure. Generally, for materials with a higher proportion of heavier components, the temperature of the reboiler needs to be higher; whereas when there is a higher proportion of lighter components in the chlorosilane, the temperature can be kept lower (at the same pressure). Here, we maintain the reboiler temperature between 75 and 110 degrees
What you say is completely unfounded; his temperature is determined by your manufacturing process!
A reboiler is used to convert chlorosilane liquid into gas, with an operating pressure of about 6 kilograms. Is it sufficient for the operating temperature to be higher than the boiling point of chlorosilane at this pressure?
