Is it better to use positive pressure for conveying PVC powder or negative pressure?
Comparison between positive pressure conveying and negative pressure conveying: 1. Positive pressure conveying requires less energy compared to negative pressure conveying； 2. Positive pressure conveying has a high pressure, making it more suitable for long-distance transportation; negative pressure conveying can only be used for short-distance transportation ； 3. Negative pressure transfer is cleaner; positive pressure transfer allows dust to leak, resulting in dust contamination. 4. Negative pressure transfer is suitable for transferring from multiple points to one point, while positive pressure transfer is suitable for transferring from one point to multiple points. It can’t be said that that method is good; the key is to determine the delivery method based on your needs.
At present, most PVC is transported under positive pressure; although negative pressure transportation results in less dust, it requires higher energy consumption and stricter sealing conditions
