Can activated carbon absorb methane? How does its ability to adsorb methane compare to its ability to adsorb chlorosilanes and hydrogen chloride? What are its relevant parameters?
Activated carbon can adsorb any gas, but the adsorption strength of different gases on its surface varies, leading to competition.
That’s a bit too exaggerated. By your logic, is all the nitrogen in the system removed? Absurd!

You’d better conduct an industrial-scale experiment on your own.
It should be possible; activated carbon uses physical adsorption, relying on the structure of the substances for adsorption, and it does not distinguish between the components of gases. But once the pores have absorbed a sufficient amount, it becomes difficult to adsorb more.
There’s no need for such arguments; present solid evidence
It will adsorb methane, but in very small amounts; the amount adsorbed can be considered negligible within the system.
