What are the precautions for installing in the current project? Under what circumstances should SIS be installed offline, and what considerations are there for offline installation? I’m very confused about when DCS requires offline installation and when it’s necessary to download common elements; please advise, experts

Offline installation generally takes place when connecting to the field control station, where the program configuration is downloaded to the FCU (be careful not to connect to the field devices, as this could cause accidents). We call this offline download. 2. Downloading common elements usually happens when adding nodes or HIS stations, as it’s necessary to equalize the configuration across all HIS stations. Hehe
If your system has not been powered on for more than 3 days, it will need to be downloaded offline the next time it is started, so that the program can be installed in the FCS. Download the common items; you need to do this whenever there are changes in your system’s hardware configuration.
