The gold-containing waste liquid resulting from electroplating in existing electroplating plants typically contains about 0.5 g/L of gold, with a cyanide concentration of around 100–200 mg/L. The traditional method for recovering gold involved adjusting the pH with alkali, adding sodium cyanide, and then using zinc sheets to reduce the gold. Due to environmental concerns, this traditional method is no longer desired; instead, electrolytic recovery of gold is preferred. Those with experience in this area are asked to suggest manufacturers of electrolytic equipment for gold and silver recovery. It would be ideal to find manufacturers that possess complete technologies and equipment for gold electrolytic recovery. If anyone has a similar electrolytic gold recovery process in operation, please share the relevant recovery techniques as well as the type of electrolytic equipment used, along with the manufacturer’s name. Try to see if it can be reduced directly, or concentrate it first and then reduce it.

Electrolysis using a gold-containing solution like this is considered to be the best method. As far as I know, there are relatively advanced electrolysis technologies available abroad; however, I couldn’t find any domestic suppliers for such equipment. There must be some suppliers in China though, but the ones I contacted weren’t very good. So I’m hoping to get some advice from fellow enthusiasts – are there any manufacturers that produce high-quality electrolysis equipment, preferably complete sets of such equipment!
