Are there any forum members who have worked on Texaco gasifiers? How often should the thermocouples in the gasification furnace be replaced? Should a lower temperature be used during furnace drying?

During the furnace drying process, low-temperature preheating thermocouples are generally used in a gasifier; high-temperature thermocouples are replaced only when the temperature exceeds 900 degrees. After starting the car, as long as the indicator shows normal, it won’t be replaced; even if it breaks, wait until the car is stopped and then replace it during the next drive! !

Hehe, regarding what you mentioned, usually when parking the unit, we wait until the pressure in the vaporization furnace drops to 0 and the chemical displacement is complete – which takes about an hour or so (it’s not fixed; it depends on the specific circumstances) – before removing the thermocouple. By the time it’s removed, the protective tube is usually broken; first, we clean out the interior of the vaporization furnace using an iron hook, and then we enlarge the holes with a steel rod so that the thermocouple can be inserted again in the future. (If it’s not easy to pierce, use a sledgehammer to hit it.) To sum it up: stop the vehicle first, get ready to remove it, and use a tool to pierce it in an emergency! Otherwise, over time, as the temperature inside the furnace drops, the slag in the gasification furnace will block the holes, making it difficult to clear them. . . We ran into this issue once before; we didn’t remove the thermocouple when parking, and in the end we had to use a drill to get inside it, and it took a lot of effort to do that. .
If there’s a problem with the thermocouple, fix that issue; if the wire is broken, replace the thermocouple core. If there’s a problem with the protective tube, wait until the production process stops to address it. Different problems cannot be treated in a generic manner.
