Why is the central oxygen in the burner retracted a bit? Why isn’t it at the same level as the outer edge? ?

Texaco’s are premixed burners, while those with four nozzles are pre-film burners. (That’s exactly what you said.)
The central oxygen is there for secondary atomization; if it’s extended, how can atomization take place?
Currently, the pre-coated burners used with four nozzles have equal oxygen levels at the center and on the periphery, yielding good results
