Regarding short circuit, there are many hazards, such as causing user voltage to drop and short-circuit current to burn out equipment and circuits. But why is the strong electric power during short circuit causing mechanical damage to the equipment? How to understand? What is the mechanism of electrodynamic force formation and the factors that affect its magnitude?

Therefore, two wires carrying current in the same direction attract each other, and two wires carrying current in opposite directions repel each other. This force of attraction or repulsion is the "electromotive force" of the electrical circuit. It is precisely because of the existence of this electric power that the short-circuit current is very large, so the electric power it generates is also very huge.
