Should state-owned enterprise employees stay in the workshops or pursue careers in administrative departments?
Of course, go to the department, but don’t forget the skills.
The department is still better; once you finish your tasks each day, there’s nothing else to worry about! There are endless tasks in the workshop.
But in the department, the income seems to be less than that in the workshop, right?
You have connections, right? Go and work in the workshop for two years first; otherwise, it will hinder your future development.
Those in higher positions have a long-term vision; if such conditions exist, it’s better to first build up experience in the workshop, as this will increase the chances of achieving good progress later on in a specialized department
Once you’re in the workshop, thinking about moving to a different department isn’t an option – it’s practically impossible. So it’s better to stay in the department where you are; in state-owned enterprises, advancing in one’s career isn’t the top priority
First, stay in the department to gain experience, then go to the workshop for further training, and return to the department for further development. The starting point should be close to the center, and development should be close to the people; rapid progress is necessary
It doesn’t matter at all; it all depends on oneself
In my personal opinion, it’s fine with you, but your goal is clearly to learn technical skills; I think you should go to the workshop to gain experience. If you don’t want to work in a technical field, then you can focus on building good relationships within the department. But if that’s not your goal, progress will be very difficult
