How should a layperson choose an air switch when looking to purchase one?

I have an inverter with a power rating of 3.7 kW. I want to add an air switch for easier control. I need help from everyone: 1. What size air switch should be chosen? 2. What gauge of wire is suitable for the wiring between the switch and the frequency converter? 3. By the way, when choosing an air switch, is there any relationship between the rated current of the air switch and the power of the equipment it is used to control? Thank you all
For the circuit breaker, it’s better to choose 20A; if you want extra safety, go with 40A. Since the distance between the circuit breaker and the inverter is not too great, 4*2.5 wires are sufficient.
The current is not high, around 7A; a circuit breaker with a capacity of 25A or 32A will work fine. It is recommended to use 4-square millimeter wires
I think a 16A circuit breaker should be sufficient, after all, the load is an inverter rather than a motor directly, and the rated current of the inverter is around 7A. Since the operating current is low, using 2.5 square millimeter wires should not be a problem. It is easier to wire compared to 4 square.
