(Seeking help) Is the boiler water highly acidic?

Our company’s 200,000-ton synthetic ammonia system has been experiencing strange problems in recent days. The deionized water coming from the water treatment station has a pH of 7–8 (as usual). After adding NaOH to it in the deoxidation tank (in the same amount as usual), the pH at the outlet of the deoxidation tank is 9–11, which is within the specified range. But after entering the conversion furnace and the synthesis furnace, problems arose. Over several days, the pH of the water in the synthesis waste boiler and the conversion waste boiler dropped to 3.5, but the pH of the steam remained around 10, which is within the specified range. Our company increased the amount of NaOH added (by 5 times the usual amount); after 3 days, the pH of the conversion reactor was adjusted to 11, but the pH of the synthesis reactor remained at 6.5. After reducing the amount of chemical added, the pH of the synthesis reactor gradually decreased again, and the water in it was more turbid (yellowish in color). It’s not clear whether there is a problem with the water treatment station. This problem has been bothering me for days; I wonder if any colleagues have encountered a similar issue.
