Some places are now developing LNG vehicles (heavy trucks and buses), with cryogenic storage tanks installed directly on the vehicles; a single charge allows them to cover a distance similar to that achieved with gasoline. Very competitive!
It is now used extensively for power generation, with an efficiency of over 60%; the technology is well-developed, allowing for large-scale use. It plays a role in adjusting China’s energy structure. The issue is that the cost of electricity generated by this method is higher than that of coal-powered electricity, and this problem needs to be addressed through **policy measures**. Additionally, it is widely used in the automotive industry, and for drivers, it is cheaper than using gasoline
The main use of direct LNG sales is for certain industrial customers, as a substitute for LPG and coal. LNG trucks, used for peak shaving and community gas supply. Currently, LNG vehicles are developing rapidly, and it is estimated that they will become a trend in the future.
