Are there anyone who maintains polypropylene plants? Please share the methods you use in your respective plants to prevent column formation of polypropylene in the granulation unit
I work on granulation equipment for polypropylene plants, and I’d really like to discuss this with you! But I’m not quite clear about what you mean by polypropylene column formation! I guess it means the particles haven’t been severed! Our device allows us to monitor the feed amount of the pelletizing cutter, ensuring that it moves 0.01 MM every 3 days in order to prevent any gap between the cutting blade and the template. Monitoring the current of the pelletizer can also help in making judgments!
Are you referring to the material injection outlet of the polymerization reactor? We install a rotating reamer at the exit. I would like to ask: the failure rate of our spray ball valves is too high; both the cylinders and the valve bodies tend to fail easily. Have you taken any special measures for your spray ball valves?
