Be prepared; in the chemical industry, salaries for managers are not very high. I am a technician in the sulfuric acid workshop; I have access to social insurance and housing fund benefits, as well as free meals (with a meal allowance of 100 yuan per month) and accommodation. The salary is slightly lower than that of the team leader, around 2000, and the team leader requires working night shifts. I’m not sure what level of employees are responsible for inspections and DCS work. It depends specifically on educational background and work experience. My salary consists of a position-based wage (1100 in the first year) + performance bonus (300–1000) + bonus (300–2000).

Reply to 4# 45305446: Wage levels in the sulfuric acid industry vary significantly by region. 2500 is definitely not enough in Shanghai. But in western cities, this salary is already very high. It can only be said to be relative; there is nothing absolute.
The head of the sulfuric acid production department here earns 5,000–6,000 per month; there is also a year-end bonus of around 10,000–20,000, in addition to social insurance and pension contributions. The team leader usually earns a little over 2,000 per month; there is no housing provident fund. Ordinary employees earn around 1,600 or 1,700 per month, with a year-end bonus of about 1,000. There’s a big difference.
Our technician only earns 1,600! It’s bitter!
