After leaching with zinc suboxide sulfate, the leaching residue contains a relatively high amount of lead sulfate slag. Question: How can this lead sulfate slag be utilized? How to obtain metallic lead?
There are many small blast furnaces in Hunan Province used to process this kind of lead slag; does the poster have it in stock?

Lead slag cannot mainly consist of metallic lead; its main component is lead sulfate. The conventional method currently used is to feed iron filings and limestone into a small blast furnace for reduction and smelting to produce metallic lead, but the direct yield is not high, generally around 70 percent. For some individuals, pre-sintering for desulfurization followed by melting in a blast furnace results in a relatively higher direct yield, but at the cost of environmental protection.
Sodium hydroxide leaching, followed by electrolysis, yields lead peroxide and metallic lead.
