Location of the foam tank in the foam self-priming system

Are there any specifications regarding the distance between the foam tank and the object it is meant to protect? Section 3.5.1 of GB50151 states that the distance between the foam pumping station and the object in question should be no less than 30 meters. Is it required that the foam tank also be placed 30 meters away? Please give me some advice.
Although the specifications do not mention it, under normal circumstances, the foam tank is located near the pump room; the two form a single set of equipment. It makes no logical sense to separate them over a large distance.
The water for foam fire suppression systems definitely comes from pump stations, but not every building is equipped with such a system. There are also requirements regarding the distance between the foam station and the structures that need to be protected; it’s fine when smaller industrial complexes are involved, but in larger complexes, separate installations are necessary. I asked someone from a design firm, and they said there isn’t any strict limit on the distance between the foam tank and the structures to be protected.
Our unit’s fire foam tanks are located in the fire pump room. I also saw that the fire foam tanks of our neighboring units are placed outside the fire dike. I’m referring to oil depots; this is just for reference
It seems that most of those used for storage tanks are located outside the cofferdam.
It is usually placed next to the fire pump room, and a proper safety distance must be maintained. In the event of a fire, the fire scene must not pose a threat to the safety of the foam system; if the safety distance is insufficient, the fire could reach you, making it impossible to carry out firefighting efforts. Moreover, fire protection systems are required to have dual power supplies, so that in the event of a failure in the power distribution system, there will still be a power source available. Therefore, sufficient safety distance must be maintained between the foam tanks; it is recommended to place them alongside the foam pumps to facilitate operation and use by personnel.
The foam tank is usually located far away from the storage tanks, at least 30 meters or more. In the event of a fire, it is possible to operate the foam tank from a distance to extinguish the fire. The fire pump is placed alongside the foam tank, which facilitates operation. In our facility, the fire-fighting water comes under its own pressure; all that’s needed is to open the valve!
