Recently, some pipes were used (these pipes consist of two sections of seamless pipe that are connected at 90 degrees using elbows; one of the straight sections is 700 meters long and the other is 300 meters long, both with a DN100 diameter). It was sent to a manufacturer for gasketing, but the manufacturer said that gasketing was not possible, stating that flanges must be installed at all elbows and tees. Since the gasketing regulations issued by the Ministry of Chemical Industry also state that this structure is an unsuitable one. But I have seen ones with this same structure as well, finished products with a lining. I would like to ask the experts here: is there any difference in the gasketing process used by different manufacturers? Generally speaking, is this type of structure suitable for lining with rubber?
