Over the past week, there have been two power outages in the power plant, which resulted in a lack of steam and soft water (needed for gas production and in the waste heat recovery systems) at my ammonia synthesis plant (with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of ammonia), forcing the plant to shut down. Here, I would like to hear from fellow sailors how they would restart the operation as quickly and cost-effectively as possible in similar situations (when steam and soft water supply are gradually restored) We beginners: lol
1. Assess whether there are any issues with the parking process; the equipment must be in good condition before considering starting up the system. 2. Even if time is pressing, the startup process must still be carried out in accordance with the procedures. 3. The waiting time required to start pumps and other equipment while they are at operating temperature can be reduced, and the rate at which the catalyst is heated can be increased
1. According to the scheduling instructions, the system starts from front to back. 2. Arrange the startup times of the preceding and following production units reasonably, making estimates based on past experience. 3. Ensure proper protection of the catalyst. 4. Arrange the startup of operating equipment reasonably based on the driving conditions. 5. While driving, the amount of circulating water can be reduced appropriately to maintain the operation of the heat exchanger at an appropriate temperature. 6. Ensure proper steam balance across the entire system, and minimize leaks as much as possible.
