I work in the catalyst industry, and I need to select a pump with a head of 20 meters; the lower the flow rate, the better. The fluid contains solid particles with a diameter of around 10 microns, the temperature of the fluid is between 35–40°C, and its pH level is 3.5. Which type of pump would be suitable for my needs? How to choose? Furthermore, the medium contains chloride ions and is somewhat corrosive; what material should be used for the flow-through components of the pump? Reply to 9# bingyu1218: Pneumatic diaphragm pumps are not expensive. If a fluoropolymer centrifugal pump is used, with a head of 20 meters and a flow rate of 10 cubic meters, it will be more expensive than pneumatic diaphragm pumps; reciprocating pumps generate too high a pressure
For low flow rates and high head, high-speed pumps can be used.
