Butting of flanges of different sizes

This post was last edited by sxtblo on 2010-8-21 08:05. The company uses 40-mm and 50-mm flanges, which are connected together with small screws; PTFE gaskets are used in between. I’m not sure if this is a good solution – it seems fine for now, but I wonder if it might cause problems in the future.
This can only be used temporarily; it won’t work in the long run. It is recommended to replace it promptly
If there are no problems, then I’m fine, you’re fine, everyone’s fine. But when problems do arise, no one takes the initiative to take responsibility; protecting oneself is the top priority. It’s advisable to make a replacement – it’s necessary.
