Regarding the pressure regulation of high-pressure flushing water pumps, I’ve seen that in many large-scale applications, manual control on-site is used for regulation, which results in very stable performance. We use main control self-regulating valves for regulation, but the control is extremely poor; pressure fluctuations are very large, which prevents flushing of the system. In the end, only on-site manual stop valves can be used to control the pressure. Also, the set pressure of the safety valve on your pump is too high. We have 18.7 MPa, but this pressure is on the low side. Because pressure fluctuations, if not monitored carefully, can cause the safety valve to activate.
It’s necessary to have better on-site control; central control can easily lead to overpressure. The setting value of the safety valve is already high; the operator needs to be skilled at holding back pressure in order to control it properly.
This might work in design theory by improving the level of automation, but in practical operation, it is inconvenient and difficult to control; moreover, it is unsafe as overpressure can easily occur. It’s better to switch to on-site operation control.

Whether it is adjusting the pressure valve of the high-pressure flushing pump on-site or doing so through remote control, there is no problem (it’s just a matter of switching signals and making settings); the key is to choose the right adjustment valve.
For high-pressure flushing water pumps, the requirements for operators are quite high; special attention must be paid to monitoring and controlling changes in the pump’s outlet flow and pressure, otherwise overpressure or backflow can occur, leading to other accidents.
