Material of the converter inlet pipeline

This post was last edited by xuqinger on 2010-8-23 07:23. What should be the material of the pipes after the heat exchanger at the inlet of the conversion furnace: 304 or 304L, 316L? Are there any differences in the material requirements for process gas pipelines between water-coal slurry and pulverized coal in the associated gasification process?
We use a 6.15 MPa shift process for methanol production, with the inlet pipelines of the shift reactor made of 321 material.
Our plant uses 15CrMo to produce ammonia through 4.0MPa conversion.
