Is it necessary to install support devices for a four-stack heat exchanger?

Hi Hai, I have now built a 4-stack series heat exchanger, all of the same specification with a diameter of 1000 mm; each heat exchanger weighs around 2000 Kg. I’m worried that the bottom heat exchanger might be crushed by the three ones above it. I want to create a three-layer framework to support those three heat exchangers separately. Has anyone ever built a framework of this kind to support heat exchangers?
Today, many large heat exchangers with three or four layers of tubes are supported by frames; this involves welding a ring of support plates around the shell of each heat exchanger, welding a support plate in the middle, and finally constructing a square frame using steel plates. The frames of each unit are connected to one another with bolts.
